Started in 1997, Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC) is a provincial non-profit organization committed to increasing women's participation in trades and technology occupations. In 2002, Educational Resource Centre (WRDC-ERC) – the charitable arm of WRDC – was created. Programs and services include career exploration for girls and young women; career counseling/development for women; recruitment/retention strategies and best practices for employers to enhance diversity practices.
